We are looking for a Senior Internal Account Manager to directly manage a portion of Elite’s customer base. Our ideal candidate will have previous experience and knowledge of unified communications and connectivity and be capable of working within a KPI and target-driven sales environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional who is capable of building effective relationships and providing a consultative approach to grow our customer base through the cross-selling of different products and services. If successful, you will be able to take advantage of home-working, however you will be expected to travel to your customers and attend our Chorley or Wrexham office at least once a week. Role Responsibilities:

  • To use your knowledge to achieve your sales target and associated KPIs.
  • To proactively communicate with new and existing customers in regards to their current service, new products and how Elite could improve their service going forward.
  • Assist in resolving problems within the business and identify when to escalate issues to your manager.
  • Provide an accurate weekly forecast to your line manager, as requested.
  • Collaborate with marketing on projects that will help to drive growth.
  • Manage your existing customer base, encouraging them to renew their contracts and/or sell new products to them, in line with their requirements.
  • Work closely with the New Business Organic Growth team to identify larger sales opportunities within your customer base and pass these leads to the specialist team.
  • Maintain knowledge of products and services, including features and benefits to discuss with clients, through self-study and completion of all mandatory product, skills and services training.
  • Proactively maintain your customer details (including leads, opportunities and deals won) in Elite’s CRM system.
  • Create detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process, which is largely dictated by the prospective customer.

The Essentials:

  • Previous experience within a telecoms/connectivity/IT sales role.
  • Experience working and exceeding KPIs in a sales environment.
  • The ability to use email systems, as well as Word and Excel applications to a good standard.
  • A natural sense of empathy to ensure customers are left feeling looked after and cared about.
  • Excellent communication skills, including face-to-face, telephone and email and the ability to keep customers and colleagues clearly informed of cases.
  • Well-organised with good time management skills.
  • The ability to promptly progress issues to an effective conclusion.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-moving environment.

The Desirables:

  • Understanding of CRM.
  • Relationship-building skills with the ability to challenge decisions made by those above you and on the same level as you, when necessary.
  • Technology product knowledge.
